Diamond Bar

The City of Diamond Bar is located about 25 miles east of Los Angeles.  It is primarily a middle- and upper-middle class city in eastern Los Angeles County; however, there are some areas in Diamond Bar, such as the gated community known as “the Country” where you can find high-end luxurious homes.  It is primarily a residential community with many shopping centers interspersed throughout the city.  It is surrounded by other suburban cities, such as Brea, Walnut, Chino Hills, and Rowland Heights.  The city features the Diamond Bar Golf Course and a Los Angeles County Public Library.  In 2009, Diamond Bar was listed by Business Week Magazine among the top 3 “50 Best Places to Raise Your Kids.”  Among the factors that contributed to this City receiving such coveted recognition include the city’s quality schools, low crime rates, strong community spirit, parks and open space, and higher than national average family income.
