La Verne
La Verne is nestled in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley about 30 miles east of Los Angeles. It is surrounded by cities such as San Dimas, Glendora, Claremont, and Pomona. It is home to approximately 30,000 residents. It is a balanced community with a good mix of residential, commercial, and industrial features. La Verne is a close knit community that is home to many fine institutions and facilities among which include the University of La Verne, Brackett Airport, and fine public and private schools. The city has many custom, luxurious homes nestled in the foothills. In addition, its old town district includes vintage homes; mom and pop shops and stores; sidewalk cafés, quaint places to eat, and ice-cream shops; as well as the weekly Farmer’s Market, which give La Verne a charming, 1950’s small town feel. La Verne also has several very well maintained shopping centers interspersed throughout the city. All in all, La Verne is a progressive city which has become one of the most desirable communities in metropolitan Southern California.
