San Dimas
Located along the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, about 25 miles east of Los Angeles, San Dimas is a tightly knit and welcoming residential community, with quiet streets and well maintained yards and houses. It is surrounded by other suburban cities, such as Glendora, La Verne, and Covina. San Dimas has middle, upper-middle, as well as high-end luxurious homes which are usually hidden from the main thoroughfares and highways. Some of the communities are gated and many have active neighborhood associations, which ensure that properties are kept up to increase the area’s overall home value and desirability. San Dimas’s distinct features include a small town feel, beautiful opens spaces, and several pristine public parks, including Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas Canyon Park, Raging Waters Park, and Puddingstone Lake. The city also has a very charming downtown district with many custom shops, mom and pop stores, sidewalk cafés, quaint places to eat, and a weekly Farmer’s Market. In addition, modern shopping centers and market places are interspersed throughout the city and the public and private schools are highly desired. For all the above reasons, San Dimas is an ideal place to raise your children.
